Control Solutions, Inc. was founded in 1984 to provide factory automation and supply chain management solutions, including warehouse management systems and RF (radio frequency) based data collection systems, to U.S. manufacturing and distribution companies

Leveraging the rapid growth of the Auto-ID industry and the increased demand for mobility systems, Control Solutions expanded its product offering to include mobility and RF systems, labeling systems and data collection solutions for a variety of markets, including manufacturing, distribution, transportation, retail, construction and healthcare.

Control Solutions entered the electronic payment terminal distribution business with its 2007 acquisition of POSDATA. This acquisition also provided significant logistics and warehousing capabilities in Louisville KY, and Santa Fe Springs, CA.

Control Solutions’ 2009 acquisition of Compsee increased its nationwide build-out of sales and technical support capabilities. With the integration of this acquisition, the company has one of the largest sales and support structures within the Auto ID and mobility systems industry.

Today, Control Solutions is organized into two operating divisions, POSDATA and Compsee. The POSDATA division focuses on electronic payment terminal distribution and related services. The Compsee business focuses on enterprise mobility and supply chain management solutions, labeling systems, and RF data collection systems and related services.

Control Solutions’ corporate headquarters and western region sales and customer service center is located in Gig Harbor, WA. The eastern region sales and customer service center is located in Melbourne, FL.
